My 5-minute healthy breakfast recipes

I cook these dishes almost every day for my breakfasts.


Are you tired of coming up with ideas for breakfast every morning?  Worry no more because today I’ll show you 2 ways to cook a fast, hearty breakfast that gives you enough energy for a whole day. 

A great thing about this recipe is that it is very quick so that you can have take your time and have a wonderful start of the day. Now let’s roll.

  1. Recipe #1: One-pan sauteed vegetables


  • 1 sweet potato
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg
  • Paprika powder
  • Olive oil
  • Salt, pepper


  • Rinse, peel, and slice sweet potato into bite-size pieces
  • Rinse and chop bell peppers and onion into small pieces. A tip to cut bell peppers fast and nice: cut off the stem and the bottom first, then stand it up, use the knife tip to cut a straight, vertical line. Next, lay the bell pepper down and take off the seeds. Slice any way you want.
  • Add 1 spoon of olive oil to a hot pan.
  • Add sweet potato to the pan first because it takes longer to cook.
  • After sweet potato turns dark yellow, add onion and bell pepper.
  • Stir well, season with paprika powder, salt, and pepper. You can also add a bit of ketchup for a richer taste
  • Sometimes, I also add an egg on top of the sauteed vegetable. Remember to put the lid on the pan if you want a soft-boil egg.
  • Plate it and decorate with cilantro and herbs. Enjoy!
  1. Recipe #2: Poached egg and avocado toast


  • 1 slice of whole grain bread or any bread of your choice
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 egg
  • Paprika powder
  • Salt, pepper


  • Toast bread if you like it crunchy
  • Crack the egg into a small bowl
  • Heat up water in a small pot. Carefully pour the egg into hot water
  • While waiting for the poached egg, scoop avocado into a bowl, smash then season with salt, pepper, and paprika powder
  • Place a cooking paper on a plate, gently place the poached egg onto the plate
  • Spread avocado and placed the poached egg on the toast, sprinkle pepper and paprika.
