Robertson Quay is one of the three largest wharfs of Singapore. Located along the bank of the Singapore River, it has a different lifestyle compared to Clarke Quay located on the same riverside. If Clarke Quay is famous for its vibrant nightlife culture such as bars and discos, Robertson Quay is the place where tourists choose to chill.

(Cre: HoneyAsia Kids)

Robertson Quay’s main attractions are its picturesque cafes, specialty restaurants and village-style squares. Besides, this is considered an ideal tourist destination for families with children as there are some big malls and relaxed activities on the river which they can see families of otters frolicking around the boat. Ready to explore?

(Cre: Erwin Soo)

What to visit?

The Alkaff Bridge is a very unique bridge. Painted in a variety of vibrant colors, it is also known as the Art Bridge and was the first bridge in Singapore to be inspired by art. It’s great to soak into the scenery and snap some Insta-worthy photos!

(Cre: Robertson Quay)

Singapore Tyler Print Institute, a free display of paper art installations and printed materials. If you are into theatre, Theater Works, the theater company and Singapore Repertory Theatre, known for acclaimed classics like Shakespeare’s Hamlet, definitely will not let you down.

Lau Pat Sat Market is a very popular place where you get to enjoy delicious authentic hawker food. In Hokkien, Lau Pat Sat means “ancient market”. It was one of Singapore’s earliest wet marketplaces over 150 years ago, and was originally known as Telok Ayer Market in 1825.

If you are a fan of adventure, you should not miss G-Max Reverse Bungee. The normal bungee is a challenge but the reverse one is sure to make you howl. It is refreshing to have a bird’s eye view of the Singapore River from here. Of course, this is not a game for faint-hearted people.

(Cre: Tiket)

Where to shop?

Robertson Walk Shopping Mall is the best shopping center in Robertson Quay. The ambience is pleasant and soothing, thanks to the Mediterranean architectural architecture. Whether you wish to splash some cash or simply do some window-shopping, the Robertson Walk Shopping Mall is an excellent local destination for a fun day out.

(Cre: Robertson Quay)

UE Square Shopping Mall is another popular shopping mall near Robertson Quay. It offers a large directory of stores, a range of restaurants and plenty of events and activities. The shopping mall is based across four levels, with plenty of shops to browse.

(Cre: Robertson Quay)

Offering the very best state-of-the-art shopping malls, big designer names and popular Asian and Western brands, Orchard Road is a one-stop shopping destination for everything you might need. There are also plenty of events held on Orchard Road throughout the year, so do some research to figure out what is on during your stay.

What for meals?

You have a wide range of dining options here such as Bella Pizza, known for the best pizza in the city. If you are into whiskey, it is worth to try 50-year-old vintage bottles at La Maison Du Whiskey.

With beautiful apartments, modern amenities and convenient access to a variety of attractions, a stay at Citadines Rochor Singapore was an easy choice for my weekend getaway. Here’re some highlights to look forward to at Citadines Rochor Singapore!

Home away from home

offers a range of accommodations for any traveller’s need. From studios to lofts and one-bedroom apartments, it’s perfect whether you’re travelling with family, for business or leisure.

I stayed at the Studio Executive apartment equipped with an en-suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the unobstructed view of Little India, one of Singapore’s cultural neighbourhood. The room was spacious, open, and contemporary. The room amenities were perfect for me as I needed the space for all of my luggage, plus a place for the team to do make-up and prepare outfits for the weekend festivities.

The apartment also came with steam iron and ironing board, which was so important for me to be able to constantly change my outfits during the trip. I was also cooking up late night snacks in the kitchen for my team as we worked late and needed something to refuel!

A short walk to local attractions

is located in Little India, a truly diverse neighbourhood with options to explore historic cultural attractions and enjoy the retail & dining scenes. Close to the hotel are the 24-hour Mustafa Centre and the foodie paradise Tekka Centre, where travellers can shop and eat from a variety of hawkers. Citadines Rochor Singapore is also near

The hotel is located near 3 MRT stations, which means travellers can get to the hotel and around Singapore conveniently. I did not have a lot of time this weekend to explore the neighbourhood due to a packed schedule, but it gives me more reasons to come back soon!

Rest and relax

For such a short trip, I was thankful for the staff for their hospitality and excellent service during my stay. I was able to rest and relax while enjoying a wide range of facilities and amenities at the hotel, including an outdoor swimming pool, a residents’ lounge and a fitness centre. Should I need to ask for anything else, reception was always just a phone call away.

The inclusive services and amenities at Citadines Rochor Singapore certainly made it easy to plan stress-free holidays or business trips.

As international travels finally resume, I was reminded of how much I enjoyed exploring the world! I can’t wait for my next trip to Singapore and another stay at .

Save these cafes for the next time you visit Saigon!

Bài viết My favorite coffee shops in Saigon đã xuất hiện đầu tiên vào ngày Chaubuinet .

Besides the coffee chains that are a favorite for young people to study and work, there are plenty of coffee shops in Saigon that are beautifully designed and offer wonderful services and customer experience. Living in Saigon for the last 5 years, I’m confident to say that cafes are the first place would choose to socialize on a daily basis.

Here are my top 5 favorite coffee shops in Saigon!

1. Dabao Concept – Co Do

Dabao Concept cafe has 3 branches in Saigon and each branch is decorated in a different style. I was most impressed with the Dabao Concept on Tu Xuong street, which was inspired by the ancient capital of Hue. This is also the biggest branch of Dabao Concept with plenty of outdoor space, along with elegant and nostalgic architecture. The whole ambience feels very poetic, quiet and calm. It’s also super photogenic for those of you living for the ‘gram!

Address: 18 Tu Xuong, District 3

2. Pora Pora

Pora Pora is minimalist coffee shop located in the heart of Saigon. The highlight of the cafe is the rooftop that is always full of bright, beautiful sunlight. The way this coffee shop is decorated will make you feel like you’re sunbathing at a Mediterranean beach with palm trees, cactus and gravel floor. Definitely an lovely oasis to get lost in within the big metropolitan city of Saigon! The only thing you should know is that the space is not too big, so don’t come by at peak hours!

Address: 13 Nguyen Trai, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

3. September Saigon

The space of September Saigon reminds me of a garden in the clouds, if that makes any sense. The main color theme of the shop is ivory white and earthy orange, combined lots of greeneries, which creates such a beautiful harmony for the space. The cafe has many floors and open space, so you can choose whichever corner you like best to enjoy some refreshing drinks.

Address: 47-49 Vinh Hoi, Ward 4, District 4

4. Danshari Coffee

Danshari Coffee has a minimalist Japanese style, which is definitely different from other coffee shops in the city. The decoration of this looks quite simple but extremely meticulous and delicate. I love how the cafe uses gray, beige, and brow in everything here, from the tables, chairs to little coffee mugs. A great choice for people looking for a minimal, quiet place to study or work!

Address: 133/3 Nguyen Chi Thanh St, D5, HCMC

5. BStory Cafe

BStory Cafe is somewhat more stylized that other coffee shops. Form the outside, it really stands out with large glass windows and beautiful greeneries. The interior is filled with Western-like furniture, which feels cozy when you visit during the holidays. The drink menu here is pretty well-crafted as well. This is where I usually go to when meeting up with some close friends.

Hanoi is gradually transforming to welcome the cold winters. This may also be the favorite time of the year for Hanoians to cozy up in a cafe and enjoy the chilly, crisp air.

Today, let’s take a look at 5 must-visit coffee shops in Hanoi that I had the opportunity to explore this winter!

1. Joie Garden Tay Ho

This coffee shop is located in a small alley so it is very quiet. The space is full of greeneries and unique decorations. I particularly love the rustic atmosphere here, with wooden chairs and tables, as well as retro paintings on the wall, which emulates the ultimate Hanoi winter vibe. A plus point for Joie Garden is that the cafe allows you to visit with your pet.

Address: 47 Ao Nghe Alley, Tay Ho

2. Homie Coffee

Homie Coffee’s is a 3-story house, decorated in a cozy, wintery style. I loved lounging on the especially soft brown leather sofa here, next to a cup of hot chocolate. A warmth in your heart is probably the best description when you first visit this coffee shop. Besides, the large doorways and windows always filled Homie Coffee with so much light, which is always great if you’re someone like me, who cannot resist taking photos here every time I visit.

Address: No. 5, lane 30, Ta Quang Buu, Hai Ba Trung

3. Cafe De Flore

Cafe De Flore has a distinctive vintage feel to it that will make you come back time and time again. The coffee shop has both indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose from. The outdoor space is filled with plants and feels like a little oasis in the middle of the city, while the inside is cozy and intricately designed. Their red, arched windows are also so cute to take photos with!

Address: 46 Nguyen Truong To, Ba Dinh

4. OiA Coffee

This is a perfect cafe for anyone who is a fan of the Scandinavian look and feel. At OiA Coffee, you will be surrounded by natural light and tranquility. There’s plenty of space to chill and hang out with friends here, but it’s also quiet enough for a study/work session. The cafe is located in a French villa in the heart of Hanoi with lots of big windows, tiled roof, and tiled floor.

Address: 73 Tran Quoc Toan, Hoan Kiem

5. Tach Spaces

The designs at Tach Spaces in Hanoi is quite unique from other recently opened coffee shops. More precisely, this is a complex of coffee shops, juice shops, art spaces, entertainment units, … built by young people with great taste. The space of Tach Spaces is large and airy, combining both traditional and modern design elements. What I love most is that you can spend the whole afternoon here to different corners, shops and products within the complex. This place promises to be a favorite check-in location for young people in Ha Noi this winter.

Address: 20 Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Saigon is gradually regaining its vitality after an extended period of lockdown. Restaurants and cafes are not yet allowed for indoor dining, but accommodation facilities such as hotels and staycations have been allowed to reopen with a maximum capacity of 50%.

Currently, when it is impossible to travel out of the city, staycation is the first choice for young people in the city to recharge and travel after the lockdown. Staycations provide a change of pace to refresh your mind and body during the weekends.

In this article, let’s take a look at the best staycation choices right in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City!

La Memoria Hotel with its cool and luxurious relaxing atmosphere will surely satisfy your travel cravings. An extremely chill resort-like hotel with very reasonable rates for those who like to experience some city novelty. I love that the hotel has a catchy tropical color theme, with pinks and corals and a really cute pool.

Do you remember I had a memorable shooting session at La Memoria for Louis Vuitton earlier this year?

Address: 118 Nguyen Cu Trinh, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1.

2. Nap Saigon

There is a cafe downstairs in Nap Saigon. The remaining space is 3 floors for guests staying here. I’m especially impressed with the minimal designs here. Everyone who comes to Nap will feel the tranquility and peace. Most people come here to find balance, live a little slower and relax. The space of Nap Saigon is super cozy. Although it is a dorm-style apartment, it still makes everyone feel very comfortable like coming home. In addition, Nap Saigon also has a common living space with a fully equipped kitchen so you can cook and eat with friends.

Address: 3/5 Nguyen Van Thu, Da Kao Ward, District 1.

3. City Oasis

Right in the heart of District 1, City Oasis stands out for its unique design, lots of green space and natural light, as well as luxurious, brand new facilities. The pool is also a highlight for the stay at City Oasis. With City Oasis, it is not only a place to relax, but also a popular meet-up place for the trendy crowd.

Address: 42/4 Ho Hao Hon, Co Giang Ward, District 1.

4. The Myst Dong Khoi

Located right on the most exclusive street in Saigon, The Myst is like a green oasis with a cozy interior display, reminiscent of a traditional home in Vietnam. The architectural style of The Myst is a cross between the past and contemporary cultures, a mix between the ‘Saigon Pearl of the Far East’ and a world-class hotel. The Myst will be an interesting place for you to leisurely watch the vibrant life of a contemporary Saigon, while still being able to immerse yourself in nostalgia and to learn more about Vietnamese culture, especially indigenous art.

Address: 4-6-8 Ho Huan Nghiep street, District 1.

5. Fusion Suites

With simple but warm wooden furniture, staying at Fusion Suites gives you a feeling of living in Saigon that is both exotic and cozy. The most special feature of this hotel is the romantic ‘floating’ bath tub located near the floor-to-ceiling window – where you can relax and forget about the hustling city life.

One of the destinations I definitely will visit again after COVID-19 is Tokyo, Japan. If you have a chance to travel to Tokyo, don’t forget to “get lost” in this major metropolis through these must-try activities!

1. Visit museums

teamlab Borderless Tokyo. Image – Time Out

The experience of visiting museums in Tokyo is very special, not only because of the enormous & diverse collections on display but also the sleek, modern architecture that you’ll see in every museum. If you are a fan of history and art, museums like Tokyo National Art Museum, Edo-Tokyo Museum, or Tokyo Photographic Art Museum are definitely top of the list. Besides, don’t forget to pay a visit to the one-of-a-kind museums in Japan, such as Ghibli museum or teamLab Borderless Tokyo, where you will certainly have the most Instagrammable photos.

Shopping for vintage items

I suggest you to skip the hustling shopping malls and instead, seek for the unique vintage shops in Tokyo. Vintage shopping is one of the most popular activities for Japanese women. When I visited Tokyo, I spent hours among the vintage stores in Harajuku, Shibuya, or Koenji. Here you will not only find luxury items with affordable prices but also a vibrant scene of vintage blazers, cardigans, shoes, and accessories.

3. Visit pagodas

Going to pagodas is also a very interesting experience in Japan. In the peaceful, silent space, visitors will go to a pond containing clean, fresh water to wash their hands as a gesture of cleansing before seeing the gods. After the custom of praying, Japanese also have a tradition of tossing a coin which is believed to bring goodness to your prayer. The most famous pagodas in Tokyo are Meiji shrine (inside Yoyogi park), Sensoji shrine, and Tenoji pagoda.

4. Go on a food tour

Image – Newsweek

If you are a Japanese-food-lover like me, I highly recommend you book a food tour to try out famous dishes around the city. Besides the typical Japanese cuisine like sushi, ramen, shabu-shabu, you should also try street food such as BBQ (yakitori), pancakes (okonomiyaki), red-bean pastry (taiyaki), ice-cream, and octopus ball (takoyaki). Many food tours also offer the experience of going to the world’s largest fish market Tsukiji, making sushi with your own hands or joining a baking class.

5. Cafes

Image – Culture Trip

The coffee culture in Tokyo is very diverse. Besides the modern, minimal coffee shops that have always been the iconic image of Japan, you can pay a visit to the tea houses in the ancient town of Tokyo. Or if you are up to something fun, I also recommend the manga & anime cafe. Personally, I visited all the Starbucks stores in Tokyo because their architecture and set up are extremely unique, unlike anywhere I’ve tried in the world.

6. Experience Tokyo’s nightlife

Image – Tourist Secrets

Lastly, Tokyo nightlife is a must see (and do!) in Japan. Shinjuku and Shibuya are the two popular areas among young people in Tokyo. They go here for a vibrant bar, club, and karaoke scene. A special thing about these areas is although they are very busy, you will feel quite safe. Wandering the streets late at night, sipping a noodle bowl on the sidewalk is also a memorable experience in Tokyo.

Besides these above activities, you can also visit Disneyland Tokyo, shop at Ginza, try crossing the street at Shibuya, hop on a subway train or buy one-of-a-kind items from a vending machine. Hope you will soon have the opportunity to be “lost” in Tokyo!

Next in my series of reminiscing about the good old travel days, in this post I will introduce you to the Korean dishes that I love. Save these for your next trip!

Samgyeopsal (삼겹살)

Image – Steermit

Shall we begin with the most famous dish: Korean BBQ? This can be considered as the national dish of Korea. The eating culture around the dish is also interesting. For example, when Koreans go out for a BBQ, they often go in a big group and the meal includes drinking. BBQ restaurants in Korea is called “gogijip” which literally means a house of meat. Your options include beef, pork, chicken, and many different types of sauce and side dishes.

Two things you need to keep in mind when having Korean BBQ: First, unlike in Vietnam, at Korean BBQ restaurants, you won’t have the waiter grill the meat for you. Instead, customers will grill and cut the meat as they wanted. Second, make sure to eat the whole roll in one bite, otherwise you will be considered as being impolite!

Naengmyeon (냉면)

Image – Seongkeong Longest

Naengmyeon, cold noodle, is a popular lunch dish in Korea, especially during summer. To be honest, the dish doesn’t look too tempting to me at first. However, it takes sophistication to make, including buckwheat noodle, sliced cucumber, grilled meat, and boiled egg. The broth is cold with a slight sour taste to it, perfect for a summer day. You can try Naengmyeon at any restaurant in Korea, but I especially like the Naengmyeon restaurants in Myeongdong for the perfect price and taste.

Sundae (순대)

Image – Luke Martin

I grew up with the Kdrama where whenever there’s a broken heart, there’s sundae with soju on a side-walk stall. When I come to Korea, I realize that wasn’t just on the movies. In the evening, ajumma and ajusshi will start to bring out the stalls and tarps and prepare steaming hot sundae. Sundae is steamed pork or beef intestine, stuffed with thin vermicelli and herbs. The sundae places usually have odeng (fish cake), tteokbokki (rice cake), boiled intestines,… You can also order a soju if you’re up for a fun night.

Chimaek (치맥)

Image – Robert Koeler Travel

Chimaek is indispensable to the drinking culture of Korean. Chimaek combines 2 words: “chi” – short for chicken, and “maek” means beer on Korean. Chimaek, thus, is eating fried chicken along side with a beer. Korean fried chicken is juicy and crunchy with lots of sauces, pairing with a cold beer is just perfect. This is the favorite weekend activity of many Koreans. After the chimaek, Koreans with go for another round to the karaoke (norebang) until late.

Gopchang (곱창)

Image – Pinterest

Excitingly, gopchang is making its way to Korean restaurants in Vietnam. When I came to Seoul and tried gopchang for the first time, I was in love. Gopchang is grilled pork intestines, which is another famous anju (drinking snack). Gopchang is chewy and will have that fatty, juicy taste when grilled. Pairing it with a shot of soju is perfect for a chilly winter day. Gopchang comes at a little bit higher price than normal BBQ, so my advice is to try the gopchang places around universities like Hongdae and Sinchon for greater value!

Gamjatang (감자탕)

Image – Maangchi

Tang in Korean means soup-like dishes. Besides the famous Samgyetang (삼계탕) (chicken ginseng stew) and Seolleongtang (설렁탕) (beef bone stew), when I was in Korea, I also tried Gamjatang (potato soup). In this dish, potato is stewed till soft, along with green onion, pork bone, chilli, and the signature: perilla seed. This soup is perfect for the cold days in Korea as it’s spicy and fulfilling. It also goes well with rice.

Chuncheon dakgalbi (춘천 닭갈비)

When you visit student areas in Seoul, you will notice seeing the 닭갈비 signs everywhere – which mean Korean stir fried chicken. This dish is pretty cheap and can be shared, so it’s definitely a must-try if you’re traveling with friends. Boneless chicken is stir-fried at the table, with chilly sauce, tteok (rice cake), cabbage, sweet potato, and cheese, giving an interesting texture and taste to the dish. After you finish the chicken, you can order a rice bowl with dry seaweed to fry on the pan, super yummy!

Bingsu (빙수)

If you come to Korea in the summer, make sure not to miss the loved-by-all bingsu! I’m sure many of you are familiar with this dish. Bingsu in Korea is updated from the traditional version with red bean and syrup to a variety of toppings like fruits, ice cream, and marshmallow. The menu also offers honey toasted bread, which is another must-try dessert for summer.

New York is one of my favorite cities in the world, a metropolitan dream that’s stylishly inspirational. During my time in New York Fashion Week, I have pocketed some destinations I would love to come back to once the pandemic is over.

MoMA – Museum of Modern Art

Image: Conde Nast Traveler

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) is my favorite museum in New York with thousands of art pieces displayed in an enormous 6-floor space. MoMA is definitely the heaven for art nerds featuring all kinds of artwork from sculptures, paintings, to films and interior decorations. Besides the works by modern artists, MoMA also exhibits classic pieces like “The Starry Night” by Van Gogh or Picasso’s “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon”.

The MoMA store, located right next to the exhibition space, is a great place to shop for unique items. Souvenirs such as mugs, tote bags or earrings with fun designs make the perfect gifts for your loved ones at home.

High Line

Image: BBC

High Line is a 2km-long elevated linear park, built on top of a former rail path. It is the icon for urban architecture in New York. Walking on the High Line, with green shades all around on a sunny day is an activity that screams New York summer. Along the park are the benches and stairs for visitors to sit down and watch the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan.

Koreatown

Image: Wikipedia

Koreatown or Ktown is located at W 32th street, 10 blocks away from Time Square. This is a fun neighborhood crowded with people hunting for good Korean food or weekend entertainment. Do you see the similarity of Ktown and the famous Itaewon In Seoul? On this street, you can easily find a cup of Gong Cha boba tea, Korean cosmetics, or a nice Korean BBQ place. My recommendation is Gopchang Story for BBQ intestines. What can be more cozy than sitting down with friends at a BBQ table and drinking a cup of soju on a chill windy New York day?

Little Italy – Chinatown

It’s true to say that New York is a salad bowl for having different cultures living together within the city while maintaining their separate identities. In Manhattan, besides Ktown I just mentioned above, there are Little Italy and Chinatown. These are two neighboring areas so it’s very convenient to go to both places in one visit.

Image: Destination 360

At Little Italy, you get to walk between the buildings with European influence, pass by a colorful gelato stall or date night with your special someone at an Italian bistro with authentic cheese platters and spaghetti. 6 minutes walking from Little Italy, you will find yourself standing at Chinatown, surrounded by Asian flea markets and dimsum restaurants. I recommend you try out the famous xiao long bao (soup dumpling) at Joe’s Shanghai.

Chelsea Market

Image: Guest of A Guest

This is a complex of restaurants, a bookstore, offices, and shopping malls established in 1997. A fun fact about this place: Chelsea Market was built on the ground of a cookie factory, where Oreo was created. If you want to try American cuisine, don’t miss Chelsea Market on your trip because it has super delicious bagels, cheese, and even fresh lobsters with reasonable prices.

Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Image: NYC go

Williamsburg is one of the coolest neighborhoods in Brooklyn and the whole NYC with walls full of graffiti and the hipster spirit around every street corner. Standing anywhere in Williamsburg, you can easily have an Instagrammable street style photo with trendy coffee shops and unique street art in the background.

NYC Subway

It’s a huge miss if you came to New York but did not try the subway. If the skyscrapers are the face of New York, then the subway is the city’s soul. With 36 lines running 24/7 throughout 5 boroughs, NYC subway can take you any where at any time.

Image: Gothamist

Not just transportation, the NYC subway has some stunning stations. For example, this photo shows the glass mosaic artwork on the wall at the 28th street station. The subway station at Fulton Center has a futuristic look with a high glass dome. If you are lucky, you can watch the street artists perform at one of these underground stations. Getting lost in NYC subways is also a very New York thing to do!

New York is a massively interesting city. Everyone will have their own version of New York. I’m so glad to share mine with you. I really hope that you will have the chance to visit this unique city at least once when we can travel again.

Singapore is one of my favorite destinations to visit. Singapore is a short flight from Vietnam, and really is the heaven for food and shopping. Having traveled to Singapore many times, these are the places I always come back to when visiting The Lion City.

Orchard Road

With a shopaholic like me, Orchard Road definitely makes it to the top of my must-do list in Singapore. This famous road is only 2km in length but is a shopping heaven with thousands of brands, from Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Gucci to local brands, and even the pretty little souvenir shops that I always could not resist. So be sure you are at your best both physically and mentally when you visit Orchard Road, otherwise, you’re gonna stuck here for a pretty long time with a hole in your pocket!

Ion Orchard is the biggest and most expensive shopping center here. Ngee Ann City has Takashimaya and the biggest bookstore in Singapore – Kinokuniya. On this road, you can find many local brands and good restaurants, too.

Clarke Quay

Image: Culture Trip

A famous neighborhood of colorful colonial buildings, Clarke Quay is a favorite area among Singaporean youths for eating, shopping, and even having a drink by the river. If Clarke Quay by day is the most Instagrammable neighborhood, Clarke Quay by night is the nightlife hub of Singapore with waves of tourists crowding the bars. I recommend Yin Bar for its cool architecture and diverse menu.

Gardens by the Bay

Image: Visit Singapore

Gardens by the Bay is a gorgeous architecture complex you must visit in Singapore. This is a real-life fantasy world stretching over 101 hectares with a balance between nature and modern architecture. Once you set your first step on the Bay, you will be overwhelmed with futuristic design and technology. Gardens by the Bay is divided into 3 areas with different themes. I especially like sky walking here with the amazing view of the Gardens by the Bay from high above.

Sands SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands

If you are not afraid of height, you definitely should go to Sands SkyPark Observation Deck in the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands. From here you can see all over the city, from the promenade, the pier, and the skyscrapers. The most amazing time to visit Sands SkyPark is during the sunset. If you stay for longer, you can even have the chance to see the Light and Water show from above!

Tickets to Sands SkyPark is about S$23 for an adult and S$17 for a kid under 12. This venue opens from 9:30 to 22:00 daily.

Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade

Image: Explore More

This is the walking street along Marina Bay, where you can see Singapore’s skyline, chill out, or enjoy the Light and Water show at night. At times, you can also see live outdoor performances from famous artists here. I like to go here during the sunset, the most romantic time for couples.

Here you can also visit Gardens by the Bay and ArtScience museum through the Helix bridge.

What is your favorite place to visit in Singapore? Share with me in the comment section below and I’ll add it to my list the next time I’m back to Singapore!
