The pattern trends of Spring/Summer 2022

How will you choose to express yourself next season?

22/10/2021

Post pandemic fashion trends are all about being bold and expressing yourself freely. This applies to colors as well as patterns and textures of the collections we’ve seen on the Spring/Summer runway this year.

Here are the most notable pattern trends of Spring/Summer 2022!

Full Spectrum

The Full Spectrum design, which blends the digital and the real worlds, is a favorite on the Spring/Summer 2022 runway. Bold, playful, vibrant colors are blended together to create a fantasy-like effect. This is forecasted to be one of the key trends for party dressing  in 2022.

Psychedelic Boho

Bohemian motifs appear frequently in a variety of  Spring/Summer 2022 collections. The style is inspired by the hippie fashion of the 60s and 70s, favoring natural fabrics and materials, combined with bold colors to create a youthful new look. The pattern creates a sense of freedom, dynamism and excitement. This is perfect for traveling in style next year.

Tie Dye

Tie dye is back (or has it ever really gone away?) This trend feels super relaxed, fresh and comfortable. It’s both youthful and modern. You can see tie dye everywhere from maxi skirts, t-shirts to pants next season.

Exploded Skins

Animal print has always been a staple in our wardrobe, but Spring Summer 2022 runways have brought this pattern to a new level. These patterns, when combined with bold cuts and skin-tight dresses, became so seductive and strong. The designs evoke the feeling of wildness and primitiveness. This is an extremely unique and bold pattern, and perfect for the post-pandemic world.

Hyper Geos

Stripes, polka dots and diagonals return to the Spring/Summer 2022 runways as maximalism will once again reign. When combined with vibrant, contrasting colors, this pattern gives out a strong, vibrant look.
